Assembly named as one of LinkedIn’s top Australian startups

We’re proud to announce that Assembly Payments has been named one of LinkedIn’s Top Startups for 2018.

The list honours the 25 most sought-after startups in Australia and is derived from a blended score of LinkedIn data together with editorial expertise, taking into account four core areas: employment growth, engagement, job interest, and attraction of top talent.

Over the period in which these four areas were measured (July 2017 through to June 2018), our team and product suite has grown exponentially. We established a Sydney office in early 2017 and promptly outgrew two different office spaces.

We launched our POS to EFTPOS terminal direct integration in partnership with Westpac under the name Presto Smart, continued to go from strength to strength in our Platforms business with the launch of industry first NPP capabilities, and have grown our overall headcount from 50 to 130.

Our CEO, Simon Lee is thrilled with the accolade and credits the hard work of the team to the companies success. “We’re thrilled to be named one of LinkedIn’s Top Startups” says Simon.

“To be recognised alongside such great Aussie companies is a testament to our commitment to technology, innovation and of course our people. People and culture underpin our success at Assembly, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved since launching just four years ago.”

For us here at Assembly, this is just the beginning. The next 12 months are going to see us continue to innovate and grow as we expand our international footprint and inspire more exciting ways for people to pay.
